Su Ming, born in 1957, Ph.D in Economics, professor, doctoral supervisor. He serves as the deputy director of Fiscal Science Research Institute at Ministry of Finance. He has been paid special subsidy of government since 1997 and been selected as first class academic leader of National Cross-century Talents Project. He is also members of State Council Emergency Management Experts Group, National Population Experts Committee, China Town Fiscal Studies Professional Board, deputy director of Rural China Fiscal Studies Institute, vice-chairmen of China Institute of Environmental Sciences Environmental Economics Experts Group, managing director of China Finance Society, China Investment Association, China Energy Research Society and a domestic well-known finance experts.

He has led more than 60 important research projects of national ministries, more than 30 international research projects of the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and other international agencies. His main research fields include fiscal expenditure policies, agriculture fiscal and taxation policies, energy, and environment and climate fiscal policies etc. He publishes 10 books, more than 4000 research papers and reports, more than 20 of which received state and ministry prizes.
